Since late 2007 I have been increasingly involved in a mineral exploration project in northwestern Ontario. The properties include high-grade gold, volcanic massive sulphides, and possible disseminated copper. I have been COO since 2008 and after some successes in the field, I am working towards taking the company public by 2012.

It took me years to realize how deadly the Black Walnut really is to many garden plants. The graphic at left is a link to a PDF list of Juglone-tolerant species, for those of you also cursed by proximity to these beautiful but toxic trees. I have found another quirkier list of purportedly resistant species, and it is available in HTML here.

An experimental, interactive table of these plants with 60 pictures is available here. Netscape users will have trouble with this, but it may be worth a try. (Give it time to load.)

I will soon be adding a small number of species which I have found to be most resistant to juglone, but in the mean time if you have any others to add would you please let me know?

Link to CADD Resources

This is where I've collected a variety of resources for CAD users, especially those who have to work with my files. It contains LISP routines, custom hatch patterns, linetypes, and all kinds of blocks. I add new things periodically, and they are marked as such. Click the graphic at left to enter my CADD pages.
